Press Release Body = Egger UK Ltd has boosted the support it provides to distributors with the launch of a new counter top promotional point-of-sale unit, poster and interactive CD/DVD for its Rapid Deck chipboard flooring system.
BBA approved 'Rapid Deck' enables Weyroc Protect boards to be fixed to the joist using Weyroc D4 Adhesive.
This system enables the builder to lay an 80 sq m plot, which can take up to five hours using conventional methods, in only one hour and forty minutes - a time saving of over three hours.
This latest investment in the Weyroc brand by Egger reinforces its strong commitment to supporting timber and builders' merchants by helping them to grow business through high quality, added value product solutions.
The compact point of sale unit and poster have been specifically designed to catch the eye of merchants' customers and encourage them to pick up a installation guide, helping to generate increased sales of Weyroc Protect and Weyroc Adhesive in the process.
The CD/DVD that is available as part of the new promotional package shows how Weyroc Protect is manufactured and provides instructions and handy tips for laying the floor correctly.
This is ideal for viewing by builders before installation or for demonstration purposes in the merchants' showroom. Additional information on the disc includes technical data, copies of literature and a cost calculator to help work out the best product choice.
Barclay Scott, Egger UK Ltd's national sales manager - building, said: "The new tools will prove an invaluable sales aid for our distributors and, in return, will help them to capture a larger slice of the new build flooring market."
